He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving William alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: A deep hatred of gnolls; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers

He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and to get a good night's sleep
