History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Adam grew up listening to his father's many stories. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Adam alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Aside from being a slave or a gladiator, there isn't much legitimate work for Humans in Dean's homeland. Dean decided to take the middle way and become a bodyguard. After a long history of fighting, Dean and his spouse have recently divorced.
