He saw the brutality and swore off his fighting aspirations, taking his younger brother on his back after seeing his parents die, and fled the country. He bought a shield and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. After a long history of fighting, Richard and his spouse have recently divorced.
