Description: This malnourished man is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He has styled his auburn hair well, parting it to the right. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Ruler hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is a jovial happy person, but he is convinced people are living their lives too quickly. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Carter, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Navigator job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: A middle-aged man, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized green coat, and is pretty ugly. His black hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His gray eyes peer out from beneath his Stetson green hat.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Performer profession.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Dilettante responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is used to getting what he wants. In part because he is a meticulous planner.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. His martial abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He has since married many spouses, only to have them die. He claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage.

Description: This man is tall and muscular. He wears just a brown suit. His hair is cut close to his head. His blue eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is always in debt, since he spends his money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Human compassion; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
