History: Gilbert was born the youngest of three triplets. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Heward was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

History: Born in the south to a Banker, Hugh learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Banker work with an outfit from a few towns over. Banker work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.
