Personality: He is a Crown-heir first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: Simon was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized white coat. His golden hair is cut jaggedly and amateurishly. His eyes are blue.

Personality: Prone to second guessing himself, he comes off as nervous. He is able to make almost anything out of random pieces of junk.

History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. He always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Description: A man with a cold, calculating air about him, he dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with brown slacks. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: Manfred was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

Description: This malnourished man wears a lot of dark rich colors, with gold accents. His moppish white hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His violet eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: He got into the Bookbinder business at a young age. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bookbinder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor

Description: This tall, slender man wears a black vest and prefers white and green shirts. His boots appear to have been at one point steel toed but are quite worn down. His hair is cut close to his head. His brown eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He is fixated on the number 1. He counts his steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. He seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. He is lazy, self-centered, vain, and jealous.

History: Born to a Miner, his father struggled to pay the bills. In his 19th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is wracked by social anxiety; and he is terrified, and will act out of fear
