History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

History: Born to a Detective, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Bertram was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Detective they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bounty Hunter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.
