History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a giants raid, leaving Dean alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. Roland enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He came across an abandoned tomb where he found a relic that called out to him. After picking it up he was cursed by lycanthropy.

Motivation: He wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and wants to work out more often

Description: A middle-aged man, he has a large green mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his brown robe, and is pretty ugly. His head has been shaved. His hazel eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and to get a good night's sleep

Description: This late middle aged man is well dressed, constantly wearing a green suit, white shirt, and black tie and is in decent physical shape. He wears a colorful flower in his auburn hair. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions
