Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he would like to get married and retire

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Through the years after Dustin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Dustin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He tends to his Bricklayer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
