Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a thrill seeker, he laughs at people and throws down challenges. He is highly competitive and combative.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his mother's many stories. Through the years after Heward was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Heward's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: John was born the youngest of three triplets. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered singing. He has never given up on his singing dream.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Manfred was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away.
