When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by illithids. Frederick was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his druidic talents. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: Bertram was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Bertram was born on a far southern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Bricklayer. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Born to a Priest, his mother struggled to pay the bills. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and wants to work out more often
