He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He became a Doctor soon after.

Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. His hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. His otherwise smooth face is marked with small tiny scars.

Personality: Bernard wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Fighter, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Bernard is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He wears an old set of leather armor, nicked and torn by the ravages of time and battle. He has wavy golden hair. He has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. He wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: He is a Shoemaker first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He disdains his fellow northerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the north. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Chad has worked very hard to control his curse. In his journeys he found a malevolent artifact. He wishes to return this artifact and its corrupting influence back to where it came.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

History: Nicholas was born the youngest of three triplets. Ostracized due to the martial powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and balancing his hectic life and new tanner responsibilities is difficult

History: Roger lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
