Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He plays an instrument quite well.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Recently a tribe of giants attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Adam fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He has a cruel streak; something he gained from his previous mentor. He harbors resentment against his former mentor.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Diggory lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Since then, he has sought to make the best of life.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage
