Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Gomory was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. A gifted student he started as a Brewer, but he got bored and became a Banker. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Banker for hire.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Banker responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Miner born in the past three hundred years. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.

History: He was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Miner. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help.

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: He got into the Layabout business at a young age. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has achieved small success as a Layabout.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Description: His left thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He is generally shirtless and showing off his tattooed chest. He is bald on top and has large black tufts of hair around his ears. His green eyes have a joyful gleam in them most of the time.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man wears a worn and beaten armor. He is muscular with a powerful set of arms. His hair is always cut to a buzz. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: He is cool and collected. He likes to make quips and puns whenever he does anything. He also makes a point to compliment his superiors and flatter them. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: Ernest was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He now owns his own business.

Motivation: His relatives are trying to arrange a marriage; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
