Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His parents enrolled him in a Fighter school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and wants to raise his children well

Description: He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. He has a slight overbite and is overall scrawny. He has no hair. His violet eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: He is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. The war was a terrible time for him, and Chad does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Interpreter hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life

Description: He is a husky man, who is wearing a perfectly clean shirt and pair of pants. Sporting a black mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A rambunctious noisy drunk he knows how to make people feel guilty. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and to reunite with his absent father

Description: He is of a modest build and height, but he carries himself more imposing than he is. He wears red robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a scimitar, but if one is not available he will default to his hand crossbow. His black hair is still thick. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with poetry. He constantly tries to fill his life with poetry. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Motivation: Seeks redemption; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Description: This petite short man is perpetually holding a sweet of some kind. He wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body, marred by sweets. His moppish golden hair is in a traditional bowl cut. His ears are large.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He never wears the same outfit twice, unless he absolutely has to.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
