History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the south. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is a Servant first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in his opinion.

History: Nicholas was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Wants his loneliness to end; and wants to raise his children well

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and to prove his worth to the world

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Priest they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Sage, and he later adopted a second son.
