History: He was born into a rich family. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He struck the Spice Merchant job and began his own company from there.

Description: This man wears tight fighting clothing, which leaves very little to the imagination. He has a penchant for wearing a ring with an oversized aquamarine on his left hand. His tied-back hair is auburn. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. He worked as a nervous Sculptor and found it very stressful. He has worked as a Sculptor like his mother before him.

Description: What flesh remains visible is marred by burns. He has a large brown mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his black robe. His blonde hair is long and unkept. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He is not truly malevolent, but he is obsessed with painting. He constantly tries to fill his life with painting. He is kind towards other men and children and will generally offer men help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to him.

History: Roger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He has had some formal painting training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his painting dream.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion

Description: An older man who prefers to wear green clothing when he does not wear armor, he is not a threatening figure. His hair is short and chestnut. He has violet eyes.

Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To protect his home; and human compassion

Description: A thin man, he clearly needs to put on some weight, but he still has a lot of muscle. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a tan suit, white shirt, and tan tie. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. His eyes are amber.

Personality: Always inclined to offer people food he seems plenty friendly. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Mayor but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 10th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving John alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and someone believes him a fraud
