History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Anselm was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Raymond was born on a far eastern island where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Tailor. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally
