Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Through the years after Peter was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Peter's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He invented a lineage for himself and claims to be descended from several legendary heroes.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Around other people he will do his best to conceal his emotions and appear jolly.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants revenge against dire rats.
