Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the north. A freak accident while working with his Engraver mother left him crippled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He wants to meet his childhood hero.

Description: This fat southern man has a bulbous nose and wears a tight fitting brown shirt and pants. His skin is also unnaturally pale. His golden hair is greasy and uncared for. His eyes are violet and catlike.

Personality: He is intelligent and cunning, but he will too often allow his rage to get the better of him. He will lose his cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. His temper goes off on the smallest of things. He tends to lash out at those around him.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Godfrey was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he would like to get married and retire

He wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Guard born in the past three hundred years. He receives visions of the future at random moments

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the arcane powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Guard for hire.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new guard responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is irritable and easily angered. He is a bit of a bully and is not afraid to use his stature and powers to intimidate and hurt. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Gilbert was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep; and expand his business

Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: His druidic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He was one of the best in his class, and was picked up by his current employer. He quickly showed his capability and was soon promoted to a head role. He's also a talented Actor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to unite with his brother
