History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has recently attracted an admirer that believes he's playing hard to get.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is greedy

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Sculptor who has hired him part-time. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Hugh was born with his father's beautiful face. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and to unite with his sister
