Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. Alexandre is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born in the south. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Alexandre alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Knight profession.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. He struck it rich when he found rare goods in large quantities. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern.

Description: This slender man stands about 5'1". He wears a white coat over a brown low-cut shirt, and a feathered hat upon his head. His chestnut hair is singed and shortened. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is very protective of his business, his home, and his spouse. He is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Kyle grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Kyle. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he's looking for his big break

Description: He wears a shirt that is too small, which lets his gut show, with a ratty black coat over it. He is physically well-built. His black hair is smooth and relatively long. He has several tiny emerald earrings on each ear.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He is a font of random trivia from the lore and stories he has discovered

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he is greedy

Description: A 5'4" southern man, he wears professional attire. His hair, while still mostly black, has prominent grey streaks. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Bertram was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Bertram has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.
