His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has achieved small success as a Banker.

Personality: He acts crazy and hedonistic. He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Scribe but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after John was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. John's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Gerard was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Fighter, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Fighter in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Fighter who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: Anthony is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.
