He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Gilbert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up greataxe and armor he uses now. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. Manfred was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart.
