Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Percival fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Stableman they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Map Maker, and he later adopted a second son.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
