Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is a bit of a macho man and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Charles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Gifted from a young age, Hubert studied abroad. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes dire rats are coming to abduct people. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. In his 11th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Balimaar alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and he is wracked by social anxiety

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Shane was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Shane liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He bought a pickaxe and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and wishes to resurrect an old love
