Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hubert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born in the east to a Actor, Hubert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Hubert took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up flail and armor he uses now. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to his current location. After a long history of fighting, Heward and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Ralf lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He found a children's book about a Human Commoner who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: He feels kind of lost in life.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature bastard sword.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and a deep hatred of brigands
