History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Herbalist mother left him crippled. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Carter. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He has the money to obtain near anything and knows that if you pay a man enough he will sell his own mother. Money is his most trusted friend.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has worked as a Carter like his father before him.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and money/treasure

Personality: He's a bit of a prankster. He knows he is clumsy and seen as such and will often feign amnesia after injury. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious southern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Baker. He's also a talented Carpenter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and balancing his hectic life and new baker responsibilities is difficult
