History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: Born in the north to a Doctor, Arnold learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Scribe, but he got bored and became a Doctor. He has achieved small success as a Doctor.

History: He was born in a small island village. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 5'9". He sports red clothing, slightly heavier than average wear, and his gloved hand is found clutching a shield. His small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is obsessed with finding treasure.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. He found a children's book about a Human Adept who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted apart from his friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature shield.
