Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the west. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. He was granted arcane powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. Dustin enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Dustin was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Henry embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Henry is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A child with a great deal of writing talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has never given up on his writing dream.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found.

Personality: He is quiet and unassuming. He ignores others and carries on with his job unassumingly. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He is unsatisfied with his job.
