History: Roland hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. When the war came and ruined his parents he was left adrift. He was a hard man then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to brigands demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it

Description: A middle-aged man, he is dressed in earthy colors with a black and green handkerchief worn on his right side, and is pretty ugly. His red hair, when down, is lengthy. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. Despite his manner, he is extremely passionate and proud of his job, and he prides himself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Navigator. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion.

Description: He appears as an extremely gaunt Human, and stands approximately 6'1". He typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep blue leather and dull grey iron scale mail, and his gloved hand is found clutching a sickle. His red hair is smooth and relatively long. His eyes are likewise green. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is obsessed with his god.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: His religion dominates his actions; and he is greedy

Description: He tends to wear a heavy leather apron. Coupled with his rolled up shirt sleeves this gives him a very relaxed look, and he perpetually has his glaive ready. His auburn hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a Stetson hat. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Gifted from a young age, Alex studied abroad. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
