History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when he was still a young child. The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. Ernest abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He has became unsatisfied with his lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he desires power and/or immortality

Description: This man is moderately tanned and has just the faintest trace of an accent. He wears a tattered pair of loose black pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. He has moderate length chestnut hair. This blue eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: He is envious of other's things. He hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that he so desires. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born at the edge of vast forest. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the forest to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the forest due to the painful memories there. Tim took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up bow and armor he uses now. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His hair is greying and his face has many wrinkles. He has hazel eyes and a tan hat with a blue feather.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. When Cory reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. After a long history of fighting, Cory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Frederick was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Herbalist work with an outfit from a few towns over. Herbalist work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
