History: He comes from a rich northern family. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Lacking all sense, he decided to go on an adventure. He picked a direction and started trekking.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'11" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame. He wears a top hat to hide his balding. His blue eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Hugh's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes him no end of embarrassment.

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by illithids. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His parents enrolled him in a Sorcerer school at a young age so that he could practice his martial talents. He was granted martial powers by his dying sister.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

Motivation: Regain custody of his son; and to share knowledge with the world

Description: With brown face paint in a stripe pattern across his face, he wears a tight fitting blue shirt and pants. His white hair has been sun bleached extensively. His thin eyebrows rest above his beady blue eyes.

Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He married young, but lost his spouse to gnolls. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many gnolls want him driven away; and a deep hatred of gnolls
