History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Heward grew up listening to his mother's many stories. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Humans in the south were limited. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society, and his gloved hand is found clutching a ceremonial dagger. He has done his best to style his red hair to look like a famous performer. His ears are large.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: Manfred hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. To his fellows he is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Brewer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out.

His attire stands in sharp contrast to his crossbow, which is beautifully polished and possesses an ornate carving of a skull on it. He is bald on top and has large golden tufts of hair around his ears. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A freak accident while working with his Guard father left him crippled. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He has comitted a past crime that haunts him to this day; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Reynard was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Ploughman. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Ploughman.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and he is unsatisfied with his job
