Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Wizard, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Wizard in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He found a children's book about a Human Wizard who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Dyer work with an outfit from a few towns over. Dyer work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 10 years.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

He does not believe in violence as a means to an end. He is a dedicated Bather but believes his peers are too gung-ho.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Rolf was born on a far eastern forest where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bather. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Ploughman they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Bather, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To be a Ploughman again; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
