History: He was born into a rich family. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. History: He comes from a rich western family. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. History: Born in the south to a Server, Roland learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Server. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.
