History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. A true patriot, Trym would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove him into the Courier business.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day he will do what he thinks is right.

History: Born to a Mortician, his mother struggled to pay the bills. His mother was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and he is content

History: He was born at the edge of vast desert. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he has money and likes to spend it
