History: He was born in a small island village. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a large cave. He would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. History: He got into the Bather business at a young age. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of gnolls attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gilbert fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Through the years after Rolf was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Rolf's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
