History: Hugh was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and marry his brother to traveling adventurers
