History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. His parents enrolled him in a Monk school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Alex was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Alex's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
