Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born in the east to a Bather, Reynard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A gifted student he started as a Sailor, but he got bored and became a Bather. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.

Motivation: To be a Sailor again; and balancing his hectic life and new bather responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He does not care much for physical appearances, nor does he care much for other people. He does however care about what he wants and getting it. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants to get laid; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Gifted from a young age, Theobald studied abroad. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.
