He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has dedicated himself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.

History: Born in the north to a Shepherd, Kyle learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Richard grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Personality: He is quite rude, and likes to deride his opponents skill and shout insults at them. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.

History: Born to a Spice Merchant, his father struggled to pay the bills. His father worked until he suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. He had to support his now crippled father and took his father's old job. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and wants to raise his children well

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. In his 14th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Norman alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions
