History: He was born in the east, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. He dropped out of school before completing his studies. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. In his 12th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Roland was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and he wants revenge against gnolls

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult; and meet up once more with his childhood friend

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a barber and was forced into it by his family

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Alexandre was born on a far western desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Assassin. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by brigands. Alexandre was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the brigands.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and he's looking for his big break
