He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and balancing his hectic life and new servant responsibilities is difficult

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Percival took it upon himself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions.

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: When he was but 7 years old his parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Roland was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Roland's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
