History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. When Bernard reached his early adolescence his Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, he has a hard time making friends. He is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by dire rats. Percival was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it.
