History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Thomas was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Gerard learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He's also a talented Painter, but doesn't like to broadcast it.
