History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. In his 20th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his mother impaled in their home, and his father beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Theodoric lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. His first spouse was a Bowyer, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: Born in the north to a Engraver, Wymar learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Diggory embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his writing with anyone who is interested.

History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. Through the years after Diggory was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Diggory's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Diggory and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. The war was a terrible time for him, and Ernest does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has dedicated himself to building a better world.
