History: His martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Jocelyn alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He was raised by priests from a young age. Through the years after Hugh was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Hugh's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
