History: Born in the south to a Body Guard, Roland learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Body Guard. He tends to his Body Guard job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Description: A middle-aged man, he likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather, and is pretty ugly. His auburn hair is cut short. His face possesses mild wrinkles. His smile is extraordinarily sincere though he does not smile often.

Personality: He believes there is no problem he cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

History: A powerful slaver made him what he is. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and his religion dominates his actions

Description: A man with a calm yet intense air about him, he wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His hair is always cut to a buzz. He tend to wears goggles to shield his eyes.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Animals are drawn to him, and he is able to talk to them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. After coming to the age of reason, Aldous took it upon himself to study the druidic arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: Anselm is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He is fiercely devoted to his mother, and views his mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: Anselm was raised in a hard working conservative environment. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Butcher. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
