History: Born to a Barber, his mother struggled to pay the bills. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Map Maker. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.

Personality: He does not believe in betrayal or weakness as things to be tolerated. The war was a terrible time for him, and Bertram does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

History: Justin hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Justin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Justin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Justin was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the orcs.
